It is easy for Christians to be nostalgic for the good old days. The days of Roe v. Wade, the Moral majority, Reagan, and the Cold Ward weren’t the good old days.
The evangelical reaction to Roe v. Wade as well as the ascendance of the Moral Majority defined what it means for the Evangelical Church to be active in political life.
We do a brief overview of this time in history and noticed that there were enough problems that these don’t really qualify as the ideal evangelical times.
