We thought it best to talk about fear in a moment when people may not be terrified. So many bad decisions are made out of fear that we cannot overemphasize the need to be spiritually prepared for frightening circumstances.

Jeremiah 29:4-7 encourages us to pray.
Job 12:23 and Isaiah 40:22-23 remind us that God is sovereign over the nations.
Hebrews 13:5-6 and Matthew 6:31-34 confront us when we worry about material things.
Isaiah 41:10 tells us to not fear because the Lord is with us!
Finally, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 1:7. We should fear God alone.
