This episode seeks to apply our admonition last week to engage culture specifically rather than in general.

Seek the good of the City, Jeremiah 29:7 — “But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”
Our three specific ideas for engaging culture this week were:
- Instead of polarization, pray. Specifically, take a prayer walk. The first application of Jeremiah 29:7 is to pray.
- Instead of fretting about education, tutor one student.
- Instead of complaining about government, serve on an advisory board.
