I am really enjoying the deep dive into this topic. During the beginning of the pandemic we felt confounded every time a Christian friend said they were moving to Idaho or some other place because of the culture of Oregon. It made us confused primarily because we believe we already are exiles, and so didn’t fully understand how our physical geography mattered that much and why an “escape” was needed (let alone the belief that a move would initiate a richer, more “Christian” existence). Keep up the good work!
